Privacy Policy

Effective date: 14 August 2026

This Privacy Policy (the “Policy”) explains how the Miho’s Guest House website (the “Website”, “we”, “us”) collects, uses, and protects the personal data of visitors and guests. It also sets out how we use cookies.

By using the Website and/or submitting a booking request, you agree to the terms of this Policy.
1. What data we collect

When you use the booking form on the Website, we may collect:
  • your name;
  • your phone number;
  • your preferred check-in and check-out dates;
  • any other information you choose to provide in the form or in your messages to us (for example, requests regarding transfers, the banya, or meals).

We may also automatically collect technical information about your visit (such as your device and browser type, IP address, and how you interact with pages) through cookies and similar technologies. See the cookie policy section below for details.
We do not collect or request payment card details. Payments and deposits are arranged directly with the hosts, outside the Website.
2. Why we process your data

We use the data we collect solely to:
  • process and confirm your booking request for the house, banya, transfer, or other additional services;
  • contact you at the phone number you provided to confirm the details of your stay;
  • improve the Website and make it easier to use;
  • respond to questions and enquiries sent through the Website’s contact channels.

We will not use your data for any purpose unrelated to bookings and guest services without your separate consent.
3. Sharing your data with third parties

We do not sell or share your personal data with third parties, except:
  • where necessary to provide a service you have requested (for example, passing your details to a transfer driver so they can meet you); and
  • where required by law.

The Website may use third-party services (such as a website builder, analytics tools, and communication tools) that process some data on a technical level so that the booking form and the Website can function.
4. How long we keep your data

We keep personal data only for as long as necessary for the purposes described in Section 2. In general, this means the period needed to arrange your stay and for follow-up communication with you, unless the law requires us to keep it longer.
5. Your rightsYou have the right to:

  • request information about the data we hold about you;
  • ask us to correct inaccurate data;
  • ask us to delete your data, where we are not required to keep it;
  • withdraw your consent to data processing at any time.

To exercise these rights, email us at mihohouse.info@gmail.com.
6. Data security

We take reasonable organizational and technical measures to protect the data you provide against unauthorized access, alteration, disclosure, or destruction.
7. Changes to this Policy

We may update this Policy from time to time. The current version will always be published on this page, along with its effective date.
8. Contact us
